Become a friend

Friend of the museum, for a good feeling and contributing to the most exciting museum in the ramparts!

By becoming a patron of the Friends of the Nederlands Vesting Museum Foundation, you support the museum’s work in a wide area. For a contribution of at least € 25 per year (more is always allowed) you get:

• with one guest and on presentation of the Friends card free access to the Vestingmuseum;
• twice a year the Newsletter of the Nederlands Vesting Museum
• invitation to exhibition openings and lectures.

It is also possible to purchase an additional “family” card with which you as a Friend with a family of two adults and two children (or two other adults) have free access all year round. The contribution is then at least € 40 per year.

Support with word and deed

The Friends support the museum with advice and assistance. For example, in recent years the Friends made possible the construction of the museum café-museum shop “De Cantine”, the purchase of a special 17th century Lobstertail helmet was made possible, the friends supported the construction of a replica of a fortress trestle (lifting tool) and the Friends supported the museum redesign of the permanent exhibition.
